We left the beautiful town of Vertibo behind. We will both be back to visit Casa Claudia again...maybe this time with Garth and Dave!

Vertibro to Vetrella 19k Walk

We walked out through the medieval gateway and we are off! Wild flowers, olive groves and, oddly, bamboo...! Sunny, warm but windy. The perfect walking weather!

Lot's of lizards have made us jump as they run out and walk along side us. We have met some other pilgrims, including a very interesting couple from the Netherlands and their dog who are walking for 3 months!

Arrived at Vetrella

We arrived at Vetrella at 13.30 to the next accomdation, Casa Pace Little House and Garden. Finished the journey with a cold beer...2.80£ for two large bottles.

Went out for dinner with the best Italian red Merlot grown just north of Vertibo. Vegetarian pinsa, like pizza...but healthier! Dessert of cheesecake for Ang and Gelato for me. Buona Notte xx

Thank you, your photos are so stunning and weather looks gorgeous. Can you please note for your readers name of your accommodation and costs each night. I hear with Covid its harder to find accom.

Will help with future planning
