A great night in Sutri. The house was beautiful, if not a little spooky. It was so old with a cellar that resembled a dungeon.
Dinner was a pilgrims menu, 17£: homemade pasta (the best!) followed by sausages and fried potatoes along with bread and a small carafe of wine. We set off the next morning after further confusion over our coffee preferences...NOT espresso!!

Sutri to Campagnano di Roma
Today's walk was hot with little breeze and mostly open farmland and no shade. Tough going! We had a break in Montirosa for a sandwich and a drink. We walked with a wonderful couple from Israel; very well travelled fellow pilgrims.
We met a Swiss man and a man from Boston, USA who we've met several times. So nice that they had dinner together last night, as single walkers. We went to the waterfall with the Israeli couple that you can see in the video. Water was so refreshing but not icy as you might expect.
When we were walking towards Campagnano di Roma we met a young Italian pilgrim starting out his adventure. 3200K to Santiago in Spain. Made our 140K seem small!
We have arrived in another beautiful hilltop town, Campagnano di Roma. There is a picture of me halfway up the steep hill to town...phew!

Wow! Looks like you've been to some stunning places. Glad to see you really enjoying your adventure and thank you for being a source of inspiration to others, like Bev says. Our whole team are very thankful for your support. ❤️
I'm loving these photos & videos of the beautiful places you're passing through & the stories of the people you're meeting. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Everywhere is so quiet but perhaps it's the time of day.
I love the waterfall, the scene with the cypress trees, the piazza with the fountain, the cobbled streets, the sounds of conversation in the cafés. It feels so peaceful.
Thank you for the inspiration which has kicked me into signing up for 100 push-ups per day in May to raise funds for Cancer Research!
